We're With the Earthquake Victims Every Day of the 135th Day!

The earthquake that occurred in 2023 and was called the disaster of the century, which deeply affected 11 of our cities, especially Kahramanmaras, was a catastrophe in which 50 thousand citizens lost their lives. After this disaster that indirectly affected millions of people, Çare Derneği immediately came to the aid of earthquake victims. Today, on the 135th day, Çare Derneği continues to stand by the victims.

Support from Çare Derneği in the First Days

After the earthquake, Çare Derneği immediately went to the field with its volunteers and employees. Support was provided for basic needs such as ready-to-eat food supplies, hot meals, winter clothes, and shelter. Çare Derneği continued to support earthquake victims during this process.

Meal Services That Continue After Ramadan

Çare Derneği continued to serve breakfast and hot meals to earthquake victims in Hatay, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, and Malatya, which it started immediately after the earthquake, as suhoor and iftar during Ramadan. After the end of Ramadan, Çare Derneği continued its service especially in Hatay and Malatya. Since the earthquake, a total of 1,670,000 people have been served meals in Hatay, Malatya, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, and Kahramanmaras.

Our Ongoing Support

Çare Derneği has been continuing to stand by earthquake victims for the last 135 days. During this time, breakfast and meal services are still being organized for a total of 12,500 people daily in Malatya and Hatay. Çare Derneği's consistent efforts show that earthquake victims are not alone.
