We Have Reached 1 Million 100 Thousand People In Need

We have performed Qurban activities with the slogan of “Be with your brother in this Eid" in Turkey and 15 countries in 2020. Despite Covid-19, we sometimes made more than 3 or 4 transfers to reach our destinations and traveled to distant geographies for our Muslim brothers and sisters who waited for us and watched our paths.

The qurbans which were given authorization by donors were slaughtered by reading their names one by one and taking their videos during the Eid.  We have accomplished this organization very well with the slogan of “Watch your qurban" by delivering the qurban videos to thousands of donors till the last day of Eid. We have reached approximately 1 million 100 thousand needy people in 65 regions in Africa, Central Asia and the Far East with meats from the slaughtered qurbans.

We have given Qurban to 2,040 families in the villages of Nawaabad Ziraat, Kalay-i Hajari, Tahk Puli, Kochay-I Nadir Alimi, Kamar Band Babayadgar and Kochayi Havoz, near Mazar-i Sharif, Afghanistan, who were subjected to Taliban persecution; 4,200 families in two different regions in the world's largest refugee camp at the border of Bangladesh, Myanmar; and 3,100 orphans in Cox's Bazar region.

This year, Care Association helped 3,500 families in the Djougou, Nadoungou, Parakou and Nikki regions of Benin, where diseases are rampant due to malnutrition, and 5,560 families in the Kouritenga, Dapelogo, Pabre, Manga and Karpala neighborhoods near Vagadugu, the capital of the French colony of Burkina Faso, which is one of the poorest countries in Africa.

In 2020, we also organized Qurban activity for the first time in Bale province of Ethiopia, and we came to Gasera in district of Robe and the surrounding villages, and reached  total of 33,000 families in Ethipoia and 250 families in Gaza, Palestine. It was also planned to plant an olive tree in the name of each donor who donated the qurban in Palestine, and to form the Olive Gardens of Care Association with donations in next years.

Qurbans were distributed to 10,200 families in Marawi, Lanao del Norte, Iligan, Zamboanga, Baloi, Cagayan de Oro, Bukidnon and Basilan, which are mostly inhabited by Moro Muslims on Mindanao island in the southern part of the Philippines, and 15,600 families in Kousséri, Lougan, Muabbada, Madamdan and Veceesange in Cameroon, which has been colonized by many countries. Also, again in Cameroon, 400 children were delighted with gifts and toys.

We have been in Kenya this year as we were last year. In Garissa, Kwela and Kilifi regions of Kenya and in nearby Silala, Matano Manne and Maramtu district centers, residential areas and we reached 11,000 families in total in 112 villages. Aside from that, 15,360 families were given qurban in 6 different regions of Pakistan Bakhar, Gilgit, Kashmir, Attock, Lahore and Faisalabad urban centers and  surrounding villages.

Qurbans were distributed to 6,600 families in the Bella Gubella and Galah region 750 orphans in the Hargeisa rehabilitation and Orphan Center in the Galcano region in Somaliland,, and 33,000 families were given qurban in villages and settlements in Tanga Mjini, Pangani, Mwera, Mkwaja and Mkinga regions of Tanzania.

Qurbans were distributed to 24,300 families Kampala and Sembabule near Kampala in Uganda, and 1500 families in two regions in Yemen.

We haven't forgotten children in this Eid either. A significant portion of the slaughtered Qurban were donated to about 10 thousand children in orphanages in the countries whose names we mentioned the countries above. We also distributed Eid gifts, candy and toys to children in the villages and residential areas.

We have supported these regions not only with qurban meat, but also with many projects that improve living conditions. In addition to drilling hundreds of water wells, we take care of hundreds of orphans in our orphanages in Burkina Faso, Arakan, Pakistan, the Philippines and Uganda.

We are also preparing for the opening of a new orphanage in Uganda that will host 500 orphans in the near future. Our next step will be to lay the foundations of the Cameroon School of Hafeez, which we promised to students who want canopy when they memorize Holy Qur’an under the sun in Cameroon.
