Water Well Opened in an Orphanage Garden in Nigeria

As Çare Association, we opened an orphanage in the Kano region of Nigeria last month where 40 orphans live. We also opened a water well in the garden of this orphanage, which both orphans and families in the surrounding area can benefit from. We aim to improve the lives of approximately 500-600 people by meeting the water needs in this arid region.

Fountain-Style Water Well

We designed a fountain-style water well to meet the water needs of the Nigeria Orphanage. This well not only met the water needs, but also provided an area where our orphans could perform their ablutions for worship. Thus, our orphans were able to perform their worship more comfortably.

Moreover, the water obtained from the well was also transported to the sink and kitchen section in the garden of the orphanage through the plumbing system. Thus, our orphans had clean water to use for their daily needs such as preparing meals, washing, and drinking water. This water well was a significant step forward for the health and hygiene of our orphans.

We also paid special attention to the quality and durability of the materials used in the construction of the well. Thus, the well will meet our orphan's water needs and ensure their safety for many years to come.
