The Blessings of Ramadan: First 15 Days Aid Campaign

Since the first day of the earthquake, Çare Derneği has been working tirelessly to heal wounds in disaster areas. We have carried out humanitarian aid operations in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman, Malatya, Gaziantep, and Şanlıurfa. With these organizations, we distributed food, hygiene kits, baby food, clothing, stoves, and fuel in order to meet basic humanitarian needs. In addition, we continued to provide breakfast and hot meals for earthquake victims.

Increased Aid Activities During Ramadan

With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, we continue our aid activities without slowing down. In the first two weeks, we distributed sahur and iftar meals to 102,000 earthquake victims living in tent cities in Hatay and Malatya. We tried to be with the needy in the spiritual atmosphere of this blessed month.

Sacrifice and Meat Distribution for Earthquake Victims

Among our activities during Ramadan, there were also 15 animal sacrifices in the Hatay and Malatya regions. The obtained meat was delivered to earthquake victims in need. We tried to alleviate their troubles to some extent by reaching out to those in need with the spirit of solidarity.

What Can We Do?

As Çare Derneği, we continue to reach out to those in need and heal wounds with the support of our valuable donors. We aim to expand our aid activities to wider masses until the end of Ramadan.
