Tanzania Health Camp Continues

Çare Association is continuing its humanitarian aid activities at full speed, both nationally and internationally. After providing food and clean water support to the region following the flood disaster in Libya last week, we are now standing by our Tanzanian brothers and sisters who cannot access healthcare services. In Pangani, patients diagnosed with illnesses during pre-camp health screenings have started to receive treatment one by one. Hundreds of cataract surgeries and surgical operations have already been performed. During the activities, a 110-year-old uncle who drew attention with his energy continuously prayed for both Çare Association and its donors.

What Are We Doing at the Health Camp?

First and foremost, patients undergo detailed examinations in a specific section of the hospital. Initially, efforts are made to identify eye conditions. Patients with conditions such as cataracts are treated by specialist doctors. A special treatment program is prepared for each patient to achieve the most effective results. Patients with longer treatment requirements are scheduled for later in the day. This way, we aim to make the most efficient and effective use of the camp's duration.

Meeting Their Needs with Basic Food Aid

In addition to healthcare assistance, Çare is also conducting effective work in the region in terms of food aid. In recent aid distributions, essential food items such as rice, beans, corn flour, and wheat flour, which are basic necessities for the local population, were distributed.

Tanzania Orphanage

After the Philippines and Uganda, we have also started work on the construction of an orphanage in Tanzania. The Çare teams who went to the region for the Health Camp also laid the foundation for the planned Tanzania Orphanage and Education Complex in the region.
