Ramadan Assistance Provided for 111 Families in Ankara

The Care Association provided assistance to needy families in Ankara throughout the month of Ramadan. Food packages, cash aid, and meat distribution were provided at events held in the Pursaklar and Altındağ districts.

Food Packages and Cash Aid

During events held on April 11-12, food packages (kumanya) were distributed to 111 needy families living in the Pursaklar and Altındağ districts. In addition, a small amount of cash aid was provided as zakat and fitr. Thanks to this assistance, families' basic needs were met during Ramadan.

Our donors' vow and akika sacrificial meat were also distributed to those in need as part of these events. In this way, the burden on families was lightened to some extent before the holiday, and smiles were brought to their faces.

Additional Assistance with Shopping Cards

The Care Association distributed shopping cards to families with children and large families in need in order to provide assistance. Thanks to these cards, families were able to shop for basic needs at markets. In addition, since there were no restrictions on the use of the cards, families were free to choose the materials they needed.

Assistance for Families Affected by Earthquake

Food package support was also provided to families who had settled in Ankara due to the earthquake and to families who relied on the Care Association for their livelihoods during the year prior to Ramadan. With this assistance, the burden on families facing difficult times was lightened to some extent.

What Can We Do?

Thanks to these assistance activities, it is aimed that needy families will spend the month of Ramadan in a peaceful and prosperous manner. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, donors, and supporters who contributed to these efforts. May God be pleased with them.
