Ramadan Aid in Tanzania

With the support of our valuable donors, the spirit of sharing and solidarity of the holy month of Ramadan has reached Tanzania. As Çare Association, we carried out a series of activities in Tanzania during this blessed month and made the needy smile with your support.

Zakat and Food Aid

As Çare Association, we extend a helping hand to many needy families by carrying out Ramadan activities in Tanzania. We distributed a total of 800 food packages in Nyambwewe, Klimahewa, Rabika, Saadani Village, Stahabu, Ushongo, Mwera, Choba, Madanga and Bushiri, where Aqsa Mosque was built. We also provided zakat support to 300 families whose situations were worse than other families, in addition to food packages.

Iftar Dinners and Eid Gifts for Fazilah Orphanage

During our stay here, we sat down at the same iftar table with approximately 1,000 people. Additionally, we gave Eid gifts to 150 orphans who reside in Fazilah Orphanage, which is supported by our association. In this way, we also experienced a great Eid joy with them.

Distribution of the Quran, Sacrifices

As Çare Association, within the scope of our activities in Tanzania, we distributed a total of 200 copies of the Quran. Most of these distributions were made to madrasas and mosques. We also provided food aid to two boarding madrasas in need. Additionally, three large animals were sacrificed and their meat was distributed to needy families. In this way, we responded to many religious and humanitarian needs.

TİKA Visit

We visited the TİKA Dar es Salaam Program Coordination Office and met with TİKA Coordination President Ms. Filiz Şahinci. During the meeting, information was provided about Çare Derneği's domestic and international activities. In addition, current and future projects in Tanzania were discussed. The meeting ended with mutual satisfaction.
