Iftar Joy in Uganda During Ramadan

The spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan is felt in Africa as well as around the world. As part of this, the Care Association continues to make orphans and people living in surrounding villages smile with iftar programs held at the Isar Primary School in Kampala, Uganda.

Support From Our Donors Provided Iftar for 6,600 People

Throughout Ramadan, the Care Association continued to provide assistance by providing iftar meals to thousands of people as part of its events. This year, with the support of donors, a total of 6,600 people were provided with iftar meals. We sat down together at the same tables and opened our fasts with feelings of brotherhood. These events also contributed to a sense of solidarity and unity among people. With these aid activities, the Care Association will continue to be a source of hope in the lives of those in need.

Isar Primary School: A Safe Haven for Orphans

Isar Primary School serves as both an elementary school and an orphanage for orphans in the area. With the support of the Care Association, the school provides housing for orphans who cannot cope with financial difficulties in the region. The orphans receive education and, at the same time, memorization training. The iftar programs held at the school provided an opportunity for the orphans to benefit from the blessings of this sacred month. Traditional iftar meals were offered at these programs, as well as various activities for our orphans.

Iftar Joy in Kampala and Surrounding Villages

As the Care Association, we are building bridges of the heart by inviting people living in Kampala and surrounding villages to iftar programs. In this way, the blessings and sharing spirit of Ramadan are reaching all people in the region.
