Support Call to Cox's Bazar

The United Nations has called for support for Cox's Bazar in recent weeks. As it is known, over 700 thousand Rohingya have been struggling for life in the camps since 2017. Despite the years that have passed, the Rohingyas who remained in the camps continue to suffer from food, shelter and hygiene problems.

The camps at Cox's Bazar are getting more and more crowded by the day. While humanitarian aid to the region is decreasing, Rohingya people's need for help is increasing.

Food Packages Distributed to 130 Families

Çare Association currently supports some of the orphans in the region with their families. With the Orphan Sponsorship, we regularly help orphans in the region. With these aids, we support their needs in areas such as education, shelter, food and health.

In addition to these routine aids, we also provide step-by-step support to other people in need. Last week, we distributed food packages to 130 families. Among the families where the distribution is made, there are mainly widowed and orphan families.

Food Package Content

We can list the contents of the food packages we distributed at the event we organized in Cox's Bazar as follows:

• 17 kg of Rice,
• 2 kg of Potatoes,
• 2 kg of Onions,
• 2 kg of Oil,
• 1 kg Lentils
• 2 Packages of Pasta
