Who is Yasin Ssentengo?

Yasin is a graduate of Çare Association's Uganda Orphanage, which has been operating since 2012. Yasin, who was orphaned at a very young age, was a guest in our orphanage years ago. In addition to his religious education, he completed Uganda's official primary and high school education here.

Being a successful student, Yasin sought support from the Çare Association to complete his education. Of course, the Association volunteers did not go unanswered.

Educational Journey to Turkiye

Yasin dreamed of completing his education and returning as a successful person to serve his country. Yasin, who constantly improves himself, came to Turkiye with the support of our donors after graduating from our orphanage.

He started to stay in Mecca Hafiz School in Isparta as a boarder. Yasin, who received training from TÖMER for Turkish education, can now communicate at A2 level. Yasin, who is a successful student, will reach the B1 level in a short time and will start using Turkish almost like his mother tongue. Yasin, who received hafiz training as well as normal education here, went to visit his hometown after a year of education.

From Yasin to the Orphanage and Hometown Visit

It's only been one year since Yasin left Uganda. He studied in Turkiye for only 1 year, and this was an incredible change for Yasin in every sense. In a whole year spent with different countries, cultures and friends, Yasin improved himself both spiritually and financially.

The support of the Care Association volunteers, whom he was familiar with since his childhood, brought his awareness of cooperation to the highest level. Returning to his homeland after a year of education, Yasin first attended the opening of our new orphanage. Then he went to visit his village in the west of the country.

Before the trip, he stopped by a few shops in Kampala and bought various gifts with the pocket money he had saved while in Turkiye. When he visited children who shared the same fate as him, he distributed gifts to them. Every heart we touch with your support touches other hearts, and kindness grows and multiplies as we share it...
