Food Distribution After Flood Disaster in Afghanistan

Following a major flood disaster in Afghanistan's Takhar province, Çare Derneği's representation in Afghanistan distributed rice and meat to approximately 3,000 people.

Çare Derneği's Response After the Flood Disaster

The significant flood disaster in Afghanistan's Takhar province left thousands of people homeless and made access to basic necessities difficult. Showing once again their support for the affected population, Çare Derneği, along with its donors, extended a helping hand to the region during these challenging times. Acting swiftly after the disaster, our organization through its local representation assessed the needs in the area and initiated emergency relief efforts.

Aid Activities Implemented

Immediately after the disaster, Çare Derneği's representation distributed hot meals to approximately 3,000 people in Takhar province. These meals, consisting of rice and meat, provided some relief to the flood victims. During the distribution of aid, our volunteers personally attended to the needs of the beneficiaries and made efforts to keep their spirits high.

Orphan Children We Received from Takhar

A week before the flood disaster, we welcomed five orphan siblings from Takhar. We have not received any negative news regarding their families in relation to the flood disaster. By meeting the educational, housing, and psychological support needs of these children, we are enabling them to look to the future with hope.
