Emergency Aid for Cyclone Idai

On the 15th of March in Africa, the countries of Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe were hit by a tropical cyclone  which travelled at speeds of up to 177 km / h that flooded and destroyed many coastal towns.

The fatalities have exceeded 800 with thousands left injured from the disaster which flooded almost %90 of some coastal towns. While the rescue and rebuilding work has been underway , people have been deeply concerned about a rise in the death toll. 

There have also been tens of thousands of people who have been affected by the contamined water and have been diagnosed with delivered the situation can get even worse.

For the people in the disaster region, it is almost impossbile to find clean water and food and have access to electricity . You can extend your support with Çare as we reach out to the areas almost 2 million people have been affected.
