Care Association is with victims of disaster

Care Association mobilized all of its units and volunteers in order to extend aid to the victims in the region of Agean and Eastern Black Sea due to the recent disasters. Our representatives from Urfa to Kutahya, from Tavsanli to Ankara Bursa and Istanbul and volunteers from all around Turkey with our emergency respond plans have visited Antalya, Marmaris, Manavgat and Mugla. 

In order to meet the emergency needs of the victims we have prepared food boxes and basic needs for families. Volunteers of Care helped the efforts of extinguishers then joined the social workers of Ministry of Social Affairs to help kids with psycho-social assistance. 

We again rush to the help of victims of flood in western black-sea region while we were still busy helping victims of fires in west. 

Care Association with its board of management and workers and volunteers set a camp at the most effected areas in Western Black-Sea Region and particularly at Kastamonu Bozkurt. We had a meeting with Minister of Ministry of Interior Affairs Hon. Suleyman Soylu, General Director of Foundation of Social Solidarity and Department of Social Affairs’ Director and officers and set a plan to distribute in cash and in kind aid appropriately and effectively. 

“Although we have responsibility and mission statement to extend help to the muslims overseas in different part of the world, particularly minorities especially those under oppression, and places in which we have historical bounds because of the Ottoman State, but whenever calamity strikes our own land which we consider as our paradise we mobilize all our strength and volunteers to heal the wounds and help as much as possible to the people in need; to the victims, to the children of the disaster region. We have distributed 1million₺ to the victims in cash and also extended help in kind. May Allah swt have mercy on those who lost their life and give patience to their relatives, may Allah swt prevent innocents from this kind of disaster and may Allah swt protect humanity from these kind of calamities.” said
