2020 | Wajib Qurban Organization in Afghanistan

The country that has clashed over hundreds of years with the invasions of Iran, India, Britain and Russia but never gave up. Afghanistan has never given up, but U.S. and coalition forces set foot on this land 19 years ago with the promise to wipe out the Taliban, and since then, hunger, misery and orphans have been more exposed to Taliban persecution in this arid land.

Afghanistan, which is one of the countries whose development has been constantly blocked in spite of being in the twentieth century, is so backward in the field of health, economy and education that it cannot stand up and respond to those who have persecuted it.

We have collected donations for this Eid in order to be with our Muslim brothers in Afghanistan. Qurban meats were distributed to approximately 2,040 families in need in the villages of Nawaabad Ziraat, Kalay-i Hacari, Kochay-i Nadir Alimi, Kamar Band Babayadgar and Kochayi Havoz located 5-10 km from Mazar-i Sharif city center.

Our team went to the nearby villages of Mazar-i Sharif before Eid al-Adha to identify needy families with the help of the imams and head of the villages there. While some families came to the slaughter area and waited for the qurban meat, some families were reached with the help of our support team in the area.
