Yemen:  A Bleeding Wound for 6 Years

Yemen faced a major humanitarian crisis as a result of internal turmoil in 2015.  In Yemen, people are struggling to survive due to food shortages and health problems , that’s why 24 million people suddenly need humanitarian aid and protection.

Today, more than 20 million people in Yemen cannot access clean and safe food. 4 million 400 thousand people are on the verge of death due to hunger and approximately half a million children are struggling with diseases because of the hunger.

Inadequate Health Conditions in Yemen

Only 50% of the health facilities across the country are being in the service of patients. Due to the lack of medical equipment in the hospitals, health services cannot fully be provided, so country needs so much in need of external assistance.

Care Association Continues the Assistance to Yemen

Care Association has been transporting water by tankers to needy families and delivering food and hygiene packages for years,. In the region, adaq and aqiqa qurbans are slaughtered and their meat are delivered to families in need.

 Care Association recently sent food aid to Yemen again. Those packages which contained basic food products such as flour, oil and rice were the great help for the approximately 500 people.
