Meeting with Students from Gaza in Kütahya

Since October 7, 2023, the genocide perpetuated by murderous Israel in Gaza, Palestine, has deeply wounded the conscience of humanity. As Çare Association, we stand by the people of Gaza during this difficult period and, in an effort to share their pain, we met with our Gazan students studying in Kütahya. During this meeting, we made our brothers feel that they are not alone, and that Türkiye is always by their side. We listened to the challenges our Gazan brothers face in their education and daily lives, offered solutions, and promised to support them both materially and spiritually.

The Power of Solidarity: Shared Pain is Lessened

At the meeting, our Gazan students shared the weight of the suffering in their homeland with us. As Çare Association, we emphasized that we are continuing our efforts to end the oppression faced by our brothers in Gaza, and that we stand with them at all times. This meeting was not just about offering support, but also highlighted once again the power of brotherhood and solidarity.

We Distribute Hot Meals Every Day in the Shuja’iyya Neighborhood

Our support in Palestine is not only moral; since October 8, our aid efforts in Gaza have continued uninterrupted through our local representatives. Additionally, the soup kitchen we opened at the beginning of 2024 in Gaza’s Shuja’iyya Neighborhood has been distributing hot meals daily to hundreds of families, including those from neighboring areas. As Çare Association, we deliver hot meals every day to Gazans who have not abandoned their homes, lands, and the territory to which they rightfully belong.

So What Can We Do?

There is certainly something we can all do to support our Gazan brothers and sisters, who are suffering genocide, massacres, inhumane violence, and oppression. We can cut ties with all institutions that fund and support Israel in this genocide by boycotting their products and choosing local or alternative products as substitutes.
