Hope came to earthquake victims from Australia. The Çare Association brought the warm helping hand from far away to meet the needs of those in Turkiye’s largest container towns.
The airport container town holds the distinction of being Turkiye's largest container town. Hygiene aid materials from Australia were delivered to those in need in this settlement consisting of 2,000 containers. The content of this special aid is not limited to hygiene materials. Many products to meet the basic needs of earthquake victims were included in this aid kit.
Hundreds of families in the Care container neighborhood, another distribution point of ours, were delighted with this special aid kit. In both distributions, we reached a total of 500 families. Thanks to this aid, approximately 2,000 people will be able to meet their basic hygiene needs.
The contents of the donation and aid kits are quite rich. These sets, consisting of essential items such as toothbrush, dental floss, toothpaste, hygiene kit, shaving kit, liquid soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, baby food, baby shampoo, and pacifiers, will hopefully make the lives of earthquake victims a little easier.
As the Care Association, we thank everyone who made it possible for this aid to reach those in need. Australia's meaningful contribution has been a valuable support for our local communities, and we are proud to be a part of this aid.
