Bookcase to Our Orphanage in the Philippines
28.08.2024: 07:43The male orphanage, which has been operating for about a year and a half in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines has a library now.
The students of our orphanage that has a large and spacious Masjid worked together with their teachers-especially Muhammad Isa Tayaban Hodja- in their free time remaining after their classes and built a bookcase in order to bring in the masjid a beautiful bookcase.
First of all, they made a list of necessary things such wood, cutting tools, paint for the installation of the bookcase. Then, the needs in the list were gradually completed with the orphanage's own facilities.
After completing the list, the bookcase which was decorated with Islamic motifs and completed within a few days took its place in our masjid with its harmonious colors..
Now, our orphans dream of having the second bookcase on the upper floor of the masjid. Once the budget is completed, they will be ready to build another bookcase.
