Slaughtering of the Qurban were carried out in camps inhabited by Muslims in Arakan state, Myanmar and in orphanages close to the region. In this area where the persecution of Muslims never ended, the qurban which were slaughtered were distributed to needy people by going door by door.
On the first day of Eid, qurban meats were delivered to approximately 4,200 families in 2 different regions in a camp on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, which is the largest refugee camp with 1.5 million Arakanese people in the world.
On the second day of Eid, the qurbans were distributed to 2 different orphanages and madrasas close to the camps in Cox's Bazar (Bangladesh) region. In girl’s orphanage, there are 600 students and in the other orphanages, there are 2500 students, so many students will benefit from qurban meats throughout the year.
